Paguyuban Pasundan proudly hosted a Job Fair in Bandung as a concrete step towards reducing unemployment rates.
This event was the result of a collaboration between the government, academia, and business actors and was attended by various key parties committed to creating new job opportunities for the community.
The Job Fair attracted significant attention with the presence of a representative from PT Sunra Distributor Indonesia, Ismeth Wibowo, a Commissioner and the grandson of Ir. H. Djuanda, the last Prime Minister of Indonesia, who also served as the Secretary General of Paguyuban Pasundan.
His presence provided encouragement to the participants and added weight to the event.
One of the key moments during the event was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) between the Indonesian Employers Association (APINDO), Universitas Pasundan, Pasundan Higher Education Foundation (YPT), Pasundan Basic and Secondary Education Foundation (YPDM), and SMK Pasundan 1.
This collaboration marks a strong synergy in creating a healthy and sustainable employment ecosystem.
The event was also attended by several important figures, including Acting Mayor of Bandung Bambang Tirtoyuliono, Chairman of the Executive Board of Paguyuban Pasundan Prof. Dr. H. M. Didi Turmudzi, M.Si, Chairman of the 111th Anniversary Committee of Paguyuban Pasundan Prof. Dr. Ir. H. Eddy Jusuf Sp, M.Si., M.Kom., IPU., ASEAN.Eng, Chairman of YPT Pasundan Dr. H. Makbul Mansyur, Chairman of YPDM Pasundan Dr. Dadang Mulyana M.Si., Rector of Unpas Prof. Dr. H. Azhar Affandi, S.E., M.Sc., Chairman of APINDO Bandung Ahmad Kosim Asmari, and Head of the Manpower and Transmigration Office of Bandung City.
At the Paguyuban Pasundan event, His Royal Highness H.R.I. Lukman Soemadisoeria, the King of Karaton Sumedang Larang, was present. Also attending were Dr. Cece Suryana SH, MM, the Head of the Economic and Business Sector of Paguyuban Pasundan, and Hj. Dini Riani SE MM, the Dean of FKIP Unpas. During their visit to Bandung, PT Sunra Distributor Indonesia held a gathering at the residence of the West Java Provincial Secretary, Herman Suryatman, located at Jl. Aria Jipang No. 2, Bandung.
The Job Fair successfully involved 22 companies that actively participated in providing various job opportunities for job seekers in Bandung. The participation of these companies demonstrates a joint effort to support local economic growth and reduce unemployment rates.
