Odfjell Premium Organic Wine from Chile featured speaker Yohan Handoyo, a wine expert and author of a wine secrets book. Yohan Handoyo highlighted the merits of two Odfjell wine products that will be available in Indonesia, out of the total six products owned by the brand.
The event was attended by representatives from outlets (Sommelier/F&B Head/Manager), restaurant and hotel bartenders, nightlife establishments, and lifestyle venues in Jakarta. In addition to certificates, there were also wine door prizes and an engaging quiz session.
During the quiz session, wine tasting included six different products. Yohan Handoyo, the Wine Expert, illustrated that enjoying wine is not just about getting intoxicated but is a lifestyle.
He also explained the tasting experience of organic wines, cultivated without chemicals, and compared Chilean wines to be more affordable than European counterparts.
“The story behind wine is important. People who taste wine are not just seeking the sensation of getting drunk but are also creating a lifestyle,” said Yohan Handoyo. He emphasized that enjoying wine requires a certain kind of “ritual.”
As a wine expert, Yohan Handoyo delved into the unique taste of organic wines grown without chemicals and provided a comparison of the more budget-friendly prices of Chilean wines compared to European wines.
