Sunra, a leading electric motorcycle manufacturer, has officially inaugurated its new office and showroom at Cengkareng Sedayu Square, West Jakarta.
The event saw attendance from various stakeholders, including representatives from K Water (Korean state-owned enterprise), PT BFI Finance Indonesia Tbk, Adira Finance, and PT Bank ICBC Indonesia.
Notable attendees included leaders from PT Yifang Investment Group, Gotion Battery Factory, BCA, and prospective dealers of electric motorcycles and bicycles.
Among those present were Rio Sarwono, Owner of Indonews and Commissioner of PT Petronika; Asri Hadi, CEO of Hariankami.com; Ismeth Wibowo, Commissioner of PT Sunra Distributor Indonesia; Wu Jianhua, Head Representative of Sunra Xinri Indonesia; Guo Biao; and other key stakeholders.
Also present were Doddy from Gesits Motor Nusantara, Achmad Balya and Imanuel Stevi. Hosted by MC Mala and prayer by Ustad Achmad Yani
The event highlighted strong support for the development of the electric vehicle industry in Indonesia. Benny, General Manager of PT Sunra Distributor Indonesia, emphasized the competitive advantages of Sunra’s products, which include a lineup of seven attractive electric motorcycle models priced between IDR 14,800,000 and IDR 31,600,000.
In addition to electric motorcycles, Sunra also offers nine variants of electric bicycles. All Sunra products meet the Domestic Component Level (TKDN) standards and are assembled in Indonesia using a Completely Knock Down (CKD) format.
Benny remarked, “When the factory in Kendal is operational, we will enhance local value by assembling motorcycles from raw materials.”
Demonstrating a commitment to customer satisfaction, Sunra provides an appealing warranty: three years for electric motorcycles and lithium batteries, and five years for the frame.
Benny assured attendees of the quality of Sunra’s electrical components, body materials, and frame construction.
While there are currently no plans for collaboration with ride-hailing platforms like Gojek or Grab, Benny remains open to future opportunities.
The grand opening of the showroom marks a strategic move for Sunra to introduce innovative products and meet the growing demand for electric vehicles. With appealing designs, advanced technology, and a commitment to quality, Sunra is poised to become a key player in Indonesia’s electric motorcycle industry.
