Indonesiantalk.com — IPDN Awards Kartika Pamong Praja Muda and Honorary Alumni of Higher Education in Regional Administration to District Heads
Institut Pemerintah Dalam Negeri (IPDN) has conferred the Kartika Pamong Praja Muda and Honorary Alumni of Higher Education in Regional Administration awards to the District Heads of Sumedang, Deli Serdang, the Acting District Head of Buleleng, and the Mayor of Kotamobagu.
These prestigious awards were presented directly by the Rector of the Institute of Domestic Governance (IPDN), Dr. Drs. Hadi Prabowo, M.M, at the Zamhir Islamie Hall, IPDN Jakarta campus.
Dr. Hadi stated that these four regional leaders received honors from IPDN for their outstanding achievements in the field of governance and their contributions to the welfare of praja (civil servants), alumni, and the IPDN institution itself.
Dr. Hadi further explained that according to Regulation No. 60 of 2022 by the Ministry of Home Affairs, which outlines the Statute of IPDN, IPDN has the authority to confer awards to regional leaders who have demonstrated outstanding public service and have contributed to the development of praja, alumni, and the IPDN institution.
“Therefore, today IPDN is presenting these awards while expressing our gratitude for the invaluable support provided by these four regional leaders to IPDN,” said Hadi.
Furthermore, according to the IPDN Rector, these four regional leaders have also been recognized for their dedication to serving their communities.
“Mr. Sumedang District Head has made extraordinary contributions to the development of IPDN, as evidenced by the utilization of IPDN alumni in strategic positions within the Sumedang Regional Government.”
“At present, there are 15 IPDN alumni serving in Eselon II positions, 39 in Eselon III, and 7 in Eselon IV within Sumedang’s government. The District Head has also consistently involved IPDN in the preparation of Sumedang’s official documents. Additionally, IPDN is currently collaborating with Sumedang Regency on electronic-based service development,” said Hadi.
Similarly, Mr. Deli Serdang District Head, who has served for a decade, has contributed significantly by placing 13 alumni in Eselon II positions, 45 in Eselon III, and 29 in Eselon IV. He also generously provided 200 mattresses and 100 chairs for IPDN praja.
“I would also like to express my gratitude to the Acting District Head of Buleleng, who has also utilized 13 IPDN alumni in Eselon II positions, 17 in Eselon III, and 1 in Eselon IV. He has additionally donated a gamelan ensemble and 100 mattresses for IPDN praja,” stated Hadi.
The same recognition was extended to the Mayor of Kotamobagu for her contributions, including placing 3 alumni in Eselon II positions, 5 in Eselon III, and 24 in Eselon IV. She has also generously provided a bus for operational purposes at the IPDN campus in North Sulawesi.
“Once again, I extend my thanks to all the honorees for their dedication,” said Hadi Prabowo, who has been awarded the Chief Achievement from the World Peace Organization.
